Today’s thoughts…
The issue at hand with our current political struggles is the authorities feel that the American public has lost its moral standing and become a nation of degenerates and potential terrorists. Authorities believe white, black, brown, or yellow, that people have pursued a direction away from traditional values and are beginning to behave in the manor of animals. They need to be policed to curb the underlying state of anger caused by what they blame is a lack of family values, and that it has nothing to do with inflation, scarcity, and recession, or racism.
Capitalism and so called democracy’s survival depend on complacency. There is no addressing the real problems which are: the disassembling of the US work force, the moving to off shore corporations who no longer pay into the us tax system & exploit 3rd world labor, the deregulation of environmental and human rights issues, even the elimination of our constitutional rights.
People have been chasing the American dream only to find their tail. We are experiencing the fall of the American empire and it is making everyone angry and anxious for real change. Problem is that the quest for individuality has brought us to a state where we don’t want common ideas for each other. We all seem to think that “I” have my very own type of world that the “I” wants to create. We Americans have built a false image of self and it has fragmented our person and divided our people. Waking up to the fallacy of our current state of purpose should be just as important as going to work or pursuing ones individual desires.
The American dream is real only for those who are sleeping!!!
